Swami Sumedhanand Ji
Dayanand Math Chamba is a sacred place situated in the sacred land of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. It has been serving Vedic culture and Vedic literature for the last 46 years. This institute on the banks of river Ravi is the main centre of Indian culture and traditions in the present times. Maharishi Dayanand Adarsh Uch Vidyalaya is running under this institution. A small plant planted by Swami Sumedhanand Ji in 1991 has today taken the form of a huge tree.
Swami Sumedhanand Ji kept the spirit of Simple Living and High Thinking and gave special importance to the academic, cultural, physical and character development of the students. His ardent wish remains that the students coming out of the school should make India a global leader with the strengths of their characters.
